Contemplation... Electric Lane, Brixton
This free spirit entered the new barbers covered in my last post, walked to the end of the room where my friend was being tattooed, turned and exited the shop very slowly, very calmly and with a purpose.  I was drawn to him.  He told me that he had blessed the barbers.  It transpires that he has lived in Brixton for many years and blesses new businesses that come to his part of the world.  I don't exactly know what his blessing will mean to the shop but to have such a cool dude in support is certainly a blessing in disguise.
Barbers, Tattoo and Piercing Parlour...Market Row, Brixton
My friend, Ami Volkert, preparing for her interview with a journalist.  She is the in-house piercer in this fresh new establishment (and owner of Clash Dolly - the vintage stall covered in my blog a few weeks ago).  Well worth checking out, if not for a trim/tattoo/piercing, for the ice creams and sweets served in the neighbouring shop, which is also owned by the same brothers.  They are so friendly and give all who visit a very warm welcome.  I'm looking forward to my next piercing, I mean visit.

On the Road...Poland Street, Soho
I'm really pleased with this shot.  His leather jacket looks so warm.  Cold weather doesn't mean you have to cover up with the warmest clothes you own.  You can be practical without losing your imagination.  Key pieces (shoes, jacket, bag, etc) are essential.
